Waste Management and Circular Economy

In our operations, we adopt a process that ensures the efficient use of resources and, in line with the principles of sustainable development, aims to prevent or minimize waste generation. When waste is unavoidable, we ensure its segregation at the source and promote its recovery and recycling.

  • The Zero Waste Management System is actively implemented on our campus. To ensure waste segregation at the source, dedicated collection points have been established for recyclable, organic, and non-recyclable waste.
  • In the temporary waste storage area on campus, non-hazardous waste, recyclable materials, and hazardous waste are stored separately.
  • Thanks to source segregation, recyclable waste such as paper, metal, and glass is sent to licensed recycling facilities for proper recovery.
  • Through awareness-raising activities that encourage the participation of both staff and students, the concept of a circular campus is being widely promoted.

2030 Targets and Planned Strategic Actions

  • Recycling 40% of total waste generated on campus
  • Implementing circular economy initiatives to reduce resource consumption and waste

2050 Targets and Planned Strategic Actions

  • Complete elimination of single-use products
  • Use of recyclable materials and composting of organic waste
  • Offsetting emissions through verified environmental projects
