Biodiversity

Sabancı University presents a sustainable campus model that supports ecological diversity and nature through its efforts to protect its artificial lake, forested areas, and surrounding ecosystem. The campus hosts a rich biodiversity, including 702,000 m² of forest area, 100 native species, 150 newly planted species, and over 350 subspecies. More than 100,000 trees, shrubs, flowers, and plants have been planted across the university grounds, and over 1,000 Sakura trees have been added to further enrich the campus’s natural texture.
